Scientists have found an alternative gentle method of teeth whitening

Chinese chemists from Nanchang University have proposed using titanium dioxide nanoparticles coated with a layer of polydopamine as the safest agent for teeth whitening. The particles were applied to the teeth and irradiated with blue light. As a result, the teeth regained their original white color without damaging the enamel.
